Review:

The 8th vintage of Entre Nous (2012) marks a new vineyard make-up; it is comprised of Four Winds and Laurel Hood Vineyards, all Pommard and Wadenswil. '12 presents a darker Entre Nous, with some purple and blue tones alongside the fresh cherry flavors. Flavorful tannin, staying power, great balance - this has the goods to age for 5-10 years or more. - Marcus

Previous vintage notes: The 2010 Entre Nous is a sophisticated Pinot, with transparent layers of fruit and accent notes that start with herbs and earth and expand to include rose petal, sweet spice, and minerals. Chanterelle crazies note: this wine is the perfect complement to wild mushrooms.

Bright red and ruby shine brilliantly in a polished and clear presentation thatís supported by high acid. At 12.5% alcohol, this wine has amazing buoyancy and freshness. The nose expresses ripe cherry, raspberry, coriander and light maple which lead into a front palate of spice and Mandarin orange. Minerality and soft tannin carry the wine into refreshing acidity with a gentle floral and dried herb finish. Layered and balanced, this wine has extreme depth of character. - Tyson

2009 Vintage Tasting Notes

The Crowley Entre Nous 2009 took the best of what the vintage had to offer to create a rich yet balanced wine. Tyson makes a classic Oregon Pinot noir - a blend of black raspberry and blackberry dominates the nose and flavor, with a sweet hint of pie spice and a savory, earthy hint of fresh turned soil, minerals.

2009 Wine Advocate - 90 points - The 2009 Pinot Noir Entre Nous spent 19 months in seasoned French oak. Light- to medium ruby in color, it offers up a pleasing perfume of earthy minerals, cinnamon, brown sugar, cherry cola, and raspberry. Nicely concentrated for the vintage and lengthy in the finish, it will deliver enjoyment over the next 6-7 years. - Jay Miller

"Entre Nous" translates as "between us."

A pure Oregon nose: black fruit, forest floor, mushroom. The palate boasts terrific energy, intensity, and lift. It cascades across the palate, a seamless wave of red and black berries, layered in with savory/saline elements. Gorgeous freshness and the overall package conveys a sense of fine-tuned balance. Delightful.

2008 Vintage Tasting Notes

2008 Wine Advocate - 91 points - An alluring nose of smoke, violets, spice box, incense, black cherry, and black raspberry. Dense on the palate and with excellent volume, this medium-bodied effort is crammed with succulent fruit while maintaining a sense of elegance. There is enough structure and balancing acidity for an evolution of several years. It will be at its best from 2012 to 2020. - Jay Miller

2007 Vintage Tasting Notes

Comprised of our favorite Pommard and Wadenswil clones, this Pinot is our flagship blend. A front palate of spice and ripe cherry evolve into a deep and rich wine that is quintessential Dundee Hills. A hint of oak blends with subtle chocolate notes that round out the purity of the fruit. Layered and balanced, the wine has extreme depth of character. - the winery

Katherine Cole, the Oregonian, had this to say about the wine:

"Those rabid fans of Cameron Winery (you know who you are) will want to try the wines of Tyson Crowley, former Cameron right-hand man. Crowley's Entre Nous, barrel-aged for 20 months, manages to balance crisp acidity with juicy, turkey-friendly raspberry and cranberry notes. An underlying cerebral tension and a white-pepper finish seal the deal."

2006 Vintage Tasting Notes

Crowley Entre Nous Pinot noir 06 is THE new discovery of the Thanksgiving batch of Oregon Pinot releases. The wine is silky, with flavors of spicy red currants, rich dark berries, and creamy layers of beautiful fruit. A palate caressing finish mixes nuances of earth and minerals. Aged in barrel for over 18 months, Entre Nous is a seamless Pinot from first scent to finish. Sourced from Dundee Hills fruit, made in in miniscule quantities, absolutely superb. - Marcus
