Rich, smooth, black cherry and smoke. Excellent Merlot from southern Oregon.

Merlot's rich black and red berry fruit and plush, velvety tannins make a marvelous canvas for blending.

Cabernet franc contributes minerality and perfume. Cabernet Sauvignon contributes a smoky essence and a fuller middle palate. Petite Verdot enhances acidity and spiciness.

This wine will provide enjoyment over the next two to four years with fare like braised lamb shanks with salt-cured garlic rub and grilled sweet potato fritters.
