Review:
King Estate shows off its stuff with this wine. At $18, it’s an inexpensive pinot noir, which often means a wine that is thin and tart. Not this one. It is ever so pleasant and soft in your mouth with berry flavors and just the right amount of crispness. Lots of people will love this wine. - Wine Julia
As bright and fruity as a Beaujolais, this youthful pinot leads with scents of raspberries and red cherries and a woodsy bottom note. The flavors are light and fresh, the fruit giving way to a mild amaro-like bitterness. A great pinot to stock up on. - Paul Gregutt

2008 Vintage Tasting Notes
"Winemaker Jeff Kandarian and his team turn around this entry-level, screwcapped Pinot Noir with amazing speed while still giving it time for six months in various ages of French oak. Raspberry, Bing cherry, strawberry, vanilla and cedar aromas come alive on the palate with sweet plums, delicate tannins and acidity to back it up. Rated "Outstanding" by Wine Press Northwest
Sweet cherry, hints of caramel, hints of blue fruit, and pepper spice, the wine has an elegant entry, smooth tannins on the finish, nicely structured with good acidity.
