Alloro Pinot noir Willamette Valley 08
Alloro Pinot noir Willamette Valley 08 - The sappiest, darkest 2008 Pinot we've tried so far. Loganberry and Marionberry oozes from the glass, with dark spice and toast tones adding gusto. Fresh acidity balances this hefty Pinot.

2007 Vintage Tasting Notes
Alloro Pinot noir Willamette Valley 07 - Classic red raspberry and red cherry flavors match scents of red fruit and a hint of spice. Made from Alloro's estate vineyard, it is unfined and unfiltered. Very nice for the price & will sell out quickly.
The 2007 Pinot Noir is a blend of four estate grown pinot noir clones. Strawberry and cherry fruit with hints of smoke, spice and fine tannin. The subtle complexity and elegance of this wine are a perfect match for duck confiet or grilled salmon. - the winery
The 2007 vintage was more challenging due to a cool fall with sun breaks and rainy periods that tested the nerves of the most experienced vintners. Experienced wine making paid off. Good vineyard management including pulling leaves to allow air and sunlight in the canopy, managing crop loads, and good picking decisions that allowed the fruit to reach full maturity, made for a very successful vintage.

2005 Vintage Tasting Notes
Delightfully intense toasted oak and meaty black fruit in the nose, with hints of spice, bacon fat, pepper, lilac, lavender, and white flowers. This is a sweet, juicy, huge black cherry, black raspberry, big toasty Pinot - a real crowd pleaser. There's nicely layered cherry fruit on the finish, and the toast and bacon fat notes return for a finah turn.
