Amalie Robert is located approximately 15 miles southwest of Salem, Oregon, near Van Duzer and Cherry Hill Wineries. . Amalie Robert Estate is owned and operated by Dena Drews and Ernie Pink. Dena and Ernie both manage their Estate vineyard and Ernie will be making the 2006 vintage wines. Well known winemaker Rob Stuart made the 2003, 2004, and 2005 vintages.

Amalie Robert vineyard

The dry farmed vineyard is currently 21 acres, predominately Pinot Noir. When fully planted, there will be about 45 acres under vine. Although young, the vineyard is already showing signs of producing very high quality fruit that makes Pinot noir with an intriguing expression of terroir.

Amalie Robert Chardonnay

The vineyard is predominately south facing with mostly Bellpine soil, a silty clay loam. The elevation ranges from about 275 feet up to 650 feet. Vines are spaced 7 ½ x 4 feet, providing 1,452 vines per acre. The vineyards varietals include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Syrah and Viognier. Amalie Roberts sell grapes to Beaux Frères, Cristom, Elk Cove, Erath and R. Stuart Wineries.
