Aubichon Pinot noir Reserve 08

Review:

Made by Jim Sanders for Le Cadeau Winery, Aubichon is their second label.

On the palate, this wine has explosive rich red fruit flavors, with a dense core. Think black raspberry confit, leavened by the perfect acidity of the ’08 vintage. That dense core really settles on the palate, and amps up the finish nicely. The wine is quite polished, and fans of new oak will appreciate that flavor element. Highly recommended.
