Friends and self-titled wine geeks Jim Sanders and Tom Mortimer are making wine and apparently having a good time doing so. Their sense of humor is evidenced by a simple phrase on their website…"if there is an easy way to do something, chances are we didn't do it that way". Friendship is the key to their wine-making. By building friendships with other winemakers, they have learned not only to make their own distinguished Pinot noir "with as much inefficiency as possible" but how to keep their own friendship intact.
