Review:

This is Mo's first vintage working with Meredith Mitchell Vineyard and it's an exceptional debut. The most aromatically showy of the wines shows dark cherries, creamed blueberries, and grated nutmeg that leads into a huckleberry and black cherry palate, brimming with juicy acidity, finishing with savoriness and dried herbs on the finish. This, too, has fantastic aging potential and given it's showiness, may be the high-scorer of the bunch. - Marcus

The 2011 Meredith Mitchell Pinot Noir has gorgeous aromas of blueberries, preserved red fruit, pink peppercorn, nutmeg and vanilla. The succulent palate has a medley of dried cranberries, black cherries, blueberries and savory notes. A mix of exotic sweet spices lingers on the bright, fine textured and long finish.

The 2011 Meredith Mitchell Pinot Noir was aged for 11 month in 30% new and 70% older French oak barrels. It will benefit from time in the cellar and has the potential to age for 10+ years.
