He states that the vineyard yields a “ferrous mineral quality”. Dark crimson-colored, it displays a lovely perfume of toast, mineral, spice box, black cherry, and black raspberry. Elegant on the palate, it has layers of savory fruit, light tannin, succulent flavors, and impeccable balance. This lengthy effort will benefit from another 2-3 years of bottle age and perform optimally from 2011 to 2020.”

A bit deeper and lengthier than the Cumberland bottling, it will evolve for 1-2 years and offer prime drinking from 2010 to 2017.”
