Wine Spectator says: "The Bergstr÷m Vineyard bottling is made fromthe best barrels from the family's 15-acre vineyard in the Red Hills. Remarkably dense in color, almost opaque, but not heavy-handed at all. The texture is supple, centering on fresh dark plum with hints of cherry and sassafras, wrapped in fine-grained tannins as the flavors linger impressively. Drink now through 2012. From Oregon.-H.S."

The 2002 Bergstr÷m Vineyard Pinot Noir is a barrel selection from our 15-acre estate in the Red Hills of Dundee, and the 2002 vintage is its inaugural release. Fashioned from five Dijon Clone Pinot Noir blocks and a smidgen of Pommard and Wadenswil Clone vines thrown in for good measure, our Bergstr÷m Vineyard is a testament to what Oregon Pinot Noir is capable of achieving. And we love to see purple smiles too."
