Brandborg Winery Gewurztraminer 03/04
From the winery: "The grape source is the Bradley Vineyard in Elkton. This is a lovely wine that came from very mature aromatic fruit. The wine is finished with 2.5% residual sugar. It has great gewurtz aromas of roses, apricots and spices. The wine pairs well with hot and spicy Asian foods, especially Thai chili sauces. There is good acid in the wine, so even with this degree of sugar, the wine remains very much a food wine. Both of the Bradley bottlings had pHs in the low 3's, indicating a perfect match of variety and terrior. Bottled April 2002 150 cases 12.4% alcohol"
