New vintage of the famous wine poured at the White House!

The color is golden honeysuckle yellow. The aromas are of honey, wildflowers and sweet fruit. The flavors include fresh citrus, stonefruit and wet stone. The finish is smooth and long, with a creaminess and hints of lemon. Approachable now, this wine will be good for years to come.

2008 Vintage Tasting Notes

Rich complex nose of slate, lime, green apple, fresh cut hay, apple, quince, white flowers and minerals. Fresh tarragon, clove, cinnamon, white currents and beeswax notes offer more complexity and depth to the nose after the wine opens. 2006 Vintage Tasting Notes

The Ara Riesling 06 shows immediate aromas of green apple, minerals, raspberries, and citrus. Later chestnuts, honey, slate, lime and mint also make an appearance.
