Champoux Vineyard is Washington's best known source for Cabernet. You know you'll have an immensely great wine when it comes from Champoux - the Buty tows this line. Wonderfully intense black and blue fruits weave in violets, stones, and dark cocoa. A wine for the cellar, this has the balance to age for a decade. - Marcus

The Previous vintage, 2007, received 97 points from Wine Enthusiast. Given its scarcity, the 2008 will be sold out long before it is reviewed.

Caleb Buty's 's take on Champoux Vineyard old vine fruit. Velvet on the palate, intense fruit flavors and scents of fresh turned earth. Intense aromas of violets and spicy vanilla notes make you want to jump into the glass. Aged over a year in bottle, this wine has "come together and integrated. It's smoother and more refined, " says Caleb Foster.

Only 150 cases produced. 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc.
