Buty Winery Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc 2006
A near ideal white wine, reminiscent of the best of Sancerre, crisp apple meshes with creamy pear and hints of spice. Lovely. -Jean
Though predominately made of semillon I found the nose held more sauvignon blanc characteristics of green and gooseberry. However, the semillion found its way onto the palate rounding out the sauv. blanc with a pleasant mouthfeel, crisp but friendly acidity and lots of vibrant lemon zest. -Amy
