The purple-black color is a prelude to the rich-ripe aromas and flavors of Italian plums and blackberries. Vanilla, anise and a touch of earth complete this wines generous presentation. It is full-bodied with fine-grained tannins and a long satisfying finish. To enjoy now, decant 4 to 8 hours prior to serving or cellar 7-12 years to allow this sensuous wine to fully develop in the bottle."
