Intense aroma with floral notes of orange blossom and chamomile. The flavor is fresh, fragrant and lively. This wine goes well with poultry and fish. Made from 100% Cortese di Gavi grapes.

From a winery owned by the Spinola family. They have owned the Tassarolo castle, in Alto Monferrato, sice the 14th Century. Tassarolo belonged first to the Marchesi of Gavi and became property of the Spinolas in 1367. It was built around an 11th Century tower and has been enlarged and renovated several times since, particularly during the Renaissance. The vineyards are planted around the castle, which dominates the valley between Novi and Gavi in the Piedmont region of Italy.
