Cavatappi Wines

Cavatappi Wines is an offshoot of Cavatappi Distributione, a Seattle based wine distributor. The wines are made from Washington State fruit.

The winery is located on the grounds of the acclaimed restaurant, Cafe Juanita. Winemaker/owner of Cavatappi Winery, Peter Dow specializes in the Italian varietals Nebbiolo and Sangiovese, in some years he produces Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Italian grapes are cultivated in the Yakima Valley where a cooperative venture with Red Willow Vineyard has led to one of the first releases of Northwest-Italian varietals.
