Chatter Creek Winery
| |
Chatter Creek was established originally as Alexia
Sparkling Wines in 1996. The focus of the winery then was on sparkling
wine made from Western Washington grapes. The winery focus is still hand
made wines but now includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc,
and Pinot Gris, as well as Brut and Blanc de Noir. Early in 2000 the
winery was renamed Chatter Creek, to mark both the inclusion of still
wines and resolve a trademark issue with Alexia. Dani and Gordy Rawson's
wineryis in their home in the University District of Seattle.
