From the winery: "The fruit for the 2000 Reserve Merlot came equally from the Wahluke slope and Horse Heaven Hills. Fruit from each source was vinified separately with only the top 10% making it into the final blend. Barrel aged for 22 months and racked frequently, this wine has an intensity that shines through. " This is a classic Washington Merlot with fruit-forward appeal and a lingering, velvety texture in the mouth." Ray Einberger, Winemaker."
