Stephen Tanzer on the 2007 Corliss Cabernet: "Finally, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley from Corliss Estates, which I tasted in barrel, holds out the potential to become one of the greatest cabernet-based wines yet produced in Washington State, although I should note that this wine is not slated for release until the fall of 2012. Ten years from now it will be fascinating to taste this superb wine next to the outstanding '07 flagship cabernet from Quilceda Creek."

It's easy to find agreement with Steve Tanzer's praise of the 07 Corliss Cab - it's absolutely fantastic. Dense, savory and sweet black fruits are velvety and expansive, adding red fruit and purple flower accents. Cassis carries the day, with shades of graphite and dark chocolate adding to the powerful finish. - Marcus

2006 Wine Advocate - 95 points - The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon (100%) spent 33 months in 80% new French oak. It is a layered, plush, mouth-filling Cabernet that already displays complexity. Give it 3-4 years to fully blossom and drink it through 2026.
