Cottonwood Winery Marina Piper Pinot noir 09
Medium-bodied and packed with red fruit and mineral flavors that develop over a long period in the glass. Try it with broiled salmon, sweet yam galette or pan seared lamp chops. - Aaron
2007 Vintage Tasting Notes
BEST BUY - A light scent of raspberries an rose petals starts this wine out. Flavors are of soft black cherry and blackberry, intermingled with pie spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla. The wine has a long finish and the finely grained, silky tannins and uplifting acidity balance the fruit well, making it a great food wine. Very nice value, lots of delicious Pinot noir for the price. - Jean
The grapes come from Durant Vineyard (86%), Bayless (4%) and the winemaker's father's 2 acres in the North Willamette.
