Red blend unusual with Sangiovese as dominant grape, from a winery deeply influenced by Italian wine style.
"Aromas of black plum, dried cherries give way to orange peel and cocoa. Blackberries and black-cherry dominate the entry, followed by notes of currant and spice. The ripe and supple entry is offset with well-structured tannins on the finish, ultimately creating a blend that is characteristically food friendly. Overall the impression is that of a robust wine possessing ripe fruit, balanced acidity and soft, talc-like tannins. It is expected that this wine will continue to drink well over the next several years." - Gino Cuneo, winemaker
- 97% Sangiovese, 2% Cabernet Franc, 1% Cabernet Sauvignon. 65% Red Mountain (WA), 35% Del Rio( OR)
