"Aromas of black plum, dried cherries give way to orange peel and cocoa. Blackberries and black-cherry dominate the entry, followed by notes of currant and spice. The ripe and supple entry is offset with well-structured tannins on the finish, ultimately creating a blend that is characteristically food friendly. Overall the impression is that of a robust wine possessing ripe fruit, balanced acidity and soft, talc-like tannins.
