Delicious Beverage Liberation Front Blaufrankisch 06 is quite a mouthful - in more ways than one. Made by David O'Reilly (Owen Roe), grapes for this wine were ourced from an old parcel of vines in Yakima Valley’s historic, high elevation Red Willow Vineyard.
Austria's red grape, Blaufrankisch (also known as Lemberger), makes great summer red wine. With a medium-light body and soft tannins, this bottling is the perfect candidate for a quick-chilled summer quaf. Try it chilled on a hot day with medium to lighter flavored foods- you'll be happily surprised.
This wine is part of the NW Vine Project, a group of inexpensive wines made for an Oregon wine distributor. Made by David O'Reilly (Owen Roe, O'Reilly's) and Andrew Rich (Andrew Rich Wines), these are super values and not readily available outside Oregon.
