Notes of black berries, black cherries, raspberry and cassis mingle with dense chocolate, cedar and vanilla. A hint of toasted almonds and dried prunes are layered with traces of cracked pepper and spice. Di Stefano's blend of red varietals, as usual, priced well below similar offerings, just a lovely value for summer. Not as big as the Sheridan Kaimakin Red, but nice structure and grip, nothing out of place.
