This two-vintage blend blend is revealing exotic layers of cocoa powder, black cherries, dried blackberries, vanilla bean, and ground coffee. Maturation in French oak has integrated notes of cigar, and cedar. Subtle flavors of violets, dark chocolate and cola tingle on the edges of the palate. The finish is smooth yet spicy with flavors of prune, fig, black pepper and pinch of dust.

Donna DiStefano, our “donna maria”, is the granddaughter of Domenica Paganelli who immigrated to the United States in 1915 from Northern Italy. Domenica and her husband settled on Lower Eastside of Manhattan where they made wine for the family in their basement. Donna and her family continue this family tradition making wine every year to be enjoyed by her family but now extends to old and new friends
