Dominio IV Reserve Tempranillo "Tango" is big. Temperatures in the low 100's are not uncommon at the vineyard - and the dense color, dark, brooding fruit, leather, spice, and toast flavors reflect the climate.

In Spain, Tempranillo is the major component of the wines of the Rioja and the Ribera del Duero regions in Northern and Central Spain. Food pairings include thinly sliced dry cured "jamon" (ham), chorizo sausage, and olives - and of course, the tapas (little plates) served in Spanish restaurants.
