Black and red fruit ripple from the glass interweaving with an incredible note of honey and leather on the nose. The fruit is dark and intense across the palate complimented by a meaty gristle savoriness. Crescendoes with black cherries, gingerbread and surprising, wonderfully welcomed. Soft tannins on the finish make this big red one to enjoy right now. - Andy

41% Syrah 30% Mourvedre 29% Grenache

2009 Tanzer - 90 points - Bright medium red. Sweet, ripe aromas of cherry and mocha. Spicy and sweet in the mouth, with a chewy saline quality nicely countered by bright acidity. With aeration, bright cherry, red berry and spice notes gained in intensity. Finishes with spicy tannins and very good length.

A Rhone-style blend of 41% Syrah, 30% Mourvedre and 29% Grenache. This is a nice wine reminiscent of some of Chris' finer wines for Latitude 46 N.
