Wall Street Journal's Best Oregon Pinot noir Pick!
One of a Kind
Antica Terra Secret Stash
2003 Antica Terra Pinot noir was a sensational hit. Picked by the Wall Street Journal's Dow Jones Oregon Pinot Noir Index as the best of 50 Oregon Pinots tasted, it flew out our door faster than any Pinot we've seen in five years. The winery released a small amount from their library. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to purchase the long sold out 2003 Antica Terra.
We tasted a bottle of the 2003 yesterday. The 2003 Antica Terra was exquisite, with Chambord and rosemary notes carrying through the silky frame: the perfect combination of opulence and earthiness.
2006 Antica Terra Willamette Valley was a staff and customer favorite. We use "was" because it sold out months ago. We discovered a stash, and are offering it in the Library Pack and on its own in limited quantities.

Wall Street Journal's review:
"Rating: Very good/Delicious."
"Taster's comments: Best of tasting: ... filled with black earth, rich fruit and coffee but also was surprisingly light on its feet, especially on the finish. A nose of prunes and chocolate and a taste that is dry and serious, with the earthy guts of a fine burgundy and the rich fruit of an American wine."

Antica Terra Pinot noir
Willamette Valley 06
Antica Terra Pinot noir 06 is lovely - subtle floral notes mingle with scents of raspberry jam and a hint of toast. A beautifully ripe and rich palate of fruit unravels, showing succulent black cherry, plum, and mixed berry notes. The fruit complements a deep cinnamon stick accent that carries through the finish, picking up minerals, cream, and warm earth. Supple and totally delicious now, with integrated, silky tannins.
Highly recommended by Avalon and an April 2008 Oregon Reserve Pinot Noir Wine Club Selection.
