Review:
Floral aromas, crisp acidity, stone fruit on the palate and a long finish. This wine pairs well with a wide variety of foods.
2010 Vintage Tasting Notes
Big complex nose. Stone fruit. Minerals on finish. Elegant. Beach and tropics- that is what the lively nose on this aromatic dry white wine brings to mind. It is full of tropical fruit, pineapple, and peaches, with a stone fruit palate. The crisp acidity and bright flavors compliment spicy food and can hold its own with curry, hot peppers, and Thai food. - the winery
2007 Vintage Tasting Notes
Et Fille has produced a Viognier that is delicious, complex, and true- to the varieta, ready to be enjoyed by iteself or with lighter foods. Great summer sipper on a hot day.
Our 2007 Viognier comes from grapes at Deux Vert Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Owners Mike and Patty Green diligently tend this vineyard with loving care. We learn from Mike’s innovative growing practices each time we walk the vineyard together. This year’s Viognier is perfectly dry and aged entirely in stainless steel.
Howard Mozeico: Tropical and dried fruit aromas & flavors, crisp acidity, restrained elegance.
Jessica Mozeico: This aromatic dry white wine is all about food pairing. If you do your own cooking for special dinners as I do, you will be pleased with how our Viognier holds up to spice, including Thai, Indian, Mexican, and South American dishes. It is also particularly nice with seafood such as crab, scallops and ceviche. Our Viognier’s complex profile lingers on the palate.
