Wine Spectator: "Vibrant and poised, balancing its intense flavor profile of pear, quince and lemon blossom with layers of minerality on an electric structure that sparks with beautifully modulated acidity. A stunning white that has tremendous depth and presence. Drink now through 2020." 487 cases made. - H.S.

La Source Pinot noir 2009

It's a huge feat to make a worthy successor to a 96-point wine. Evening Land has done it with a La Source that is attractive, even seductive while it's fresh, structured, and balanced. Personally, I think it's a better wine than the 2008. I'm charmed by the red fruits that fan out in all directions, the ribbon of minerals that adds verve, the dusting of spices and herbs that make me smile and think of Seven Springs Vineyard. - Marcus

Evening Land Vineyards
Seven Springs Estate Pinot noir 2009

$38.66 in any 12 bottle order
$42.95 retail

The nose is packed with wonderful red fruit, touches of exotic flowers and earth. The initial splash is signature 09 - read delicious - with well-balanced fruit that will appeal to the whole spectrum of Pinot drinkers. Following is a sumptuous mid-palate that echoes off the roof of your mouth without being overwhelming. The finish is lush with a puff pastry creaminess that I completely dig. The Evening Land Estate Pinot noir 09 has a little something for everyone. - Andy

Evening Land Vineyards
Summum Pinot noir 2009

$104.36 in any 12 bottle order
$115.95 retail

A remarkable presentation of the terroir of the Seven Springs Vineyard, and more broadly, a statement of what makes Oregon Pinot noirs unique and exciting.

From the first impression to the final moment, an extraordinary sense of the vineyard. I've been to the Seven Springs many times over the years, and it has a unique quality. In scent and flavor, there are buckets of black fruit flavors accentuated by a melange of soil, dry brush, herbs, wildflowers and fresh earth.

The flavor of the 2009 was startling - it is a powerful statement of the terroir of an exceptional Oregon vineyard. The complex expression of Seven Springs reigns here. - Jean

Evening Land Vineyards
Summum Chardonnay 2009

$104.36 in any 12 bottle order
$115.95 retail

The Summum Chardonnay 09 is superior to the La Source Chardonnay 09. Whether or not it receives a higher score, Summum adds more voluminous texture, more defined acidity, more intensity. It is the highest point in Evening land's line-up.- Marcus
