"The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon (100%) is a saturated purple color with an attractive aromatic array of wood smoke, spice box, violets, pencil lead, and black currant. This is followed by a mouth-filling, savory, intense wine with enough ripe tannin to evolve for another 2-3 years. This lengthy, pure effort will be at its best from 2012 to 2022."
Deep ruby. Firm structure. Crushed currants, violet and lavender, hints of cedar, blackberry, blueberry, and lingering baking spice.

2006 Vintage Tasting Notes
Fall Line Cabernet 06 is the best new mid-priced Cabernet from Washington. Pure cassis aromas and flavors, mixing with black berries, plums, black cherries, and baking spices. A lingering sweetness on the finish is accented by subtle sage leaf and integrated tannins. The Fall Line 06 is versatile as a sipper or with any hearty meal--it has perfect balance and refinement, but plenty of gushing, yummy fruit. An Avalon Big Reds Club selection and highly recommended.

"The nose offers up notes of vanilla bean, coconut, black currants, and blackberry liqueur. Layered and ripe, bordering on opulent, it nicely conceals enough tannin to carry the wine through another 4-5 years of evolution. This concentrated, lengthy effort should attain its peak by 2013 and remain at that level through 2026."

Fall Line Cabernet Sauvignon 05 received 90 points from Wine Advoate (Parker)7/08. They said: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from three vineyards and is 100% varietal. Opaque purple, it has an excellent nose of wood smoke, scorched earth, espresso, plum, and blackberry. It is the densest of the three 2005s but retains its elegance and balance. The fruit is sweet and the flavors spicy and already revealing some complexity. This lengthy wine will evolve for 3-4 years and offer prime drinking from 2012 to 2025."
Violet, tobacco, currants, black fig, cassis, herbal/spice tea, blackberry and licorice. Extraordinarily graceful, luscious mouthfeel. 100% cabernet sauvignon. 47% Boushey, 32% Artz, and 21% Windy Ridge. Aged 18 months in French oak, 37% new. Bottled May 6, 2007. 467 cases produced.
