Ladies and gents, we have a new contender for best-value Northwest Syrah: Garde Manger. The Garde Manger is classic Syrah with red and blue fruits, grilled herbs, and a meatiness that reminds me of venison chops fried in bacon fat. I'm really impressed by the balance in all the Fausse Piste wines - they make great sippers and food wines alike. - Marcus

Same reasonable price as the Levier de Cuisine, the Garde Manger is made with some of the winemaker's preferred barrels of Syrah.
