Review:

Eighty percent whole-cluster fermented and sourced from the venerable Red Willow Vineyard in the western reaches of the Yakima Valley AVA, this is a textbook Washington state Syrah. Red Willow Vineyard is the birthplace of Syrah in the Pacific Northwest, which pioneered the planting of Syrah in Washington in the early 1980s. 76 cases produced, 3 barrels. - Jesse

Syrah from the Marcoux Vineyard. The Sauer family was one of the first to plant syrah in Washington state. Located Far west in the Yakima Valley at 1200' this site is above the Missoula flood plane creating complex wines to be lusted over. Our block of Syrah sits on the sister vineyard to red willow Marcoux- slightly higher than the Iconic chapel with deeper soils and a southern facing slope.
