Review:
Each vintage, there's a standout red from Fielding Hills' line-up. This year's standout is Tribute Red. Immediately likable black cherry, loganberry and cedar provides a full and rich mouthful of flavor. There's a crushed pepper accent on the finish that would work great with any grilled meat, but Tribute doesn't need food to shine. - Marcus

2008 Vintage Tasting Notes
Fielding's red blend, a bit of everything in the vineyard. Yumm yumm - huge black cherry and toasted coffee bean nose with succulent hints of bittersweet chocolate, black cherry, black cherry and plum. Flavors are simply delicious - sweet lush red and black fruit with just a hint of fresh tobacco, toasted coffee bean, and a hearty dollop of spicy white pepper. - Jean
88% Cabernet Franc, 6% Syrah, 4% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon

Ready to drink, this is a blend of grapes from their Riverbend Vineyard. Succulent and easy, its black cherry and sweet vanilla oak flavors are just right for pairing with grilled meat and hearty winter fare. - Jean
34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 22% Syrah, 21% Cabernet Franc from Riverbend Vineyard. 126 cases made.
The most "user-friendly" of the Fielding Hills wines, the Tribute (formerly Riverbend Red) is a winner from first sip. Delicious, huge black cherry and mocha flavors fill your mouth, adding sweet plum, tobacco and anise on the long, slightly chewy finish.
