2002 vintage received 91 points, Wine & Spirits: "Big and pure, this is an concentrated as afig pudding: but what starts rich and chocolatey in aroma tames itself on the palate. There's a cedary, slightly bitter tannin that gives the wnie weight and depth, and a core of black raspberry fruit that receives its complexity. Powerful yet attenuated, it has the strength to stand up to steak, and the delicacy to complement an heirloom tomato salad. 125 cases made.
