Gilbert's Reserve defines "big." Gilbert chose their favorite 3 barrels from the 2009 vintage: two of Petit Verdot and one of Cabernet. The Petit Verdot core offers intense black and purple fruit with significant structure. Black berries, purple flowers, leather - chewy and burly. This will be best with 4-6 years in the cellar and it will last for over a decade. - Marcus
