Here's THE steal of the year in Northwest red blends. RED is one of those under $15 "insider" deals only sold in Oregon. I'd put it up against any red blend under $20 and I bet it would win.

This underpriced blend of Cab, Merlot, and Cab Franc will WOW you. A great party wine that works well with pizza, burgers, and just about anything else you can throw its way. An outstanding value.

Since 2004 John Grochau has made a blend that he simply calls "RED." This blend is always composed of Bordeaux varietals with a Cabernet backbone. The 2010 is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc, all from vineyards in the Columbia Valley.
