The 2008 The Wanted is a blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon and 29% Cabernet Franc sourced from the Stillwater Creek Vineyard. Wood smoke, pencil lead, Asian spices, incense, and black currant aromas compose the bouquet of this dense, layered, rich effort. They should have called it "Your Wanted" - that's what you'll call it after the first taste. Guardian has a way of making age-worthy reds that don't sacrifice an ounce of drinkability.
