Helioterra Wines Syrah 2010

Review:

Reminiscent of Rhone, this Syrah is elegant, showing cigar box, licorice, blackberries and fresh thyme. Graceful tannins blend with moderate acidity to offer a very balanced wine. Anne's wines stand out for their long finish that expands and gains complexity with time.

Syrah from the Coyote Canyon Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills of the Columbia Valley. Co-fermented with 3% Viognier.
