Review:

Ripe blackberries and blueberries welcome you to this fragrant red wine. Juicy fruit flavors continue on the medium bodied palate rounded out with soft tannins. Showcasing true to fruit character with balanced acidity and a smooth finish, this wine should be enjoyed slightly chilled.

The blackberry has a rich heritage in the United States. Blackberries were initially gathered by Native Americans and continue to be handpicked to this day due to their delicate nature. Blackberries are native to the Pacific Northwest and are grown on the Western slopes of the Cascade Mountains and out to the Pacific Ocean. They enjoy the moderate and maritime climates of Washington and Oregon. These blackberries have excellent flavor and are vigorous and productive in moist, rich soil. This highly developed fruit is abundant in the wild but hardly seen in the garden. - the winery
