Isenhower Cellars "Road Less traveled" Cabernet Franc 06 received 90 points from Wine Advocate (Parker) who say: "The 2006 Cabernet Franc The Road Less Traveled also contains 17% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon. Perfumed, spicy, and expressive, on the palate the wine offers some elegance, savory flavors, a bit of structure, and 1-2 years of aging potential. Drink it through 2015." Isenhower Cellars' The Road Less Traveled Cabernet Franc is a beautiful, medium bodied wine full of blueberries, white truffles, red plums, currants, and dried herbs. Honoring the tradition of Left Bank wines, I blended in Merlot to fill the wine out and Cabernet Sauvignon to heighten the finish.
