From the winery: "River Beauty is a wildflower found extensively in the high forests and the alpine regions of the Olympic Mountains. It also is the name sake for our reserve style Syrah. Crafted from two of Washington's best Syrah Vineyards, Ranch at the End of the Road on Red Mountain and Milbrandt Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope, River Beauty exudes tremendous power balanced by the acidity and the rich black fruit flavors. Ranch Vineyard Syrah is highly structured with nearly opaque color concentration and oozes blackberry & blueberry fruit flavors. These attributes result from the intense sunlight on Red Mountain and the well drained sandy soil. Milbrandt Syrah adds acidity and classic Washington white pepper. The Milbrandt Vineyard represents a cool climate Syrah character. River Beauty is crafted for aging. Cellaring for up to 10 years will greatly benefit the consumer." Not currently available to order.
