Review:
Wine Advocate 90 Points: From 20 year old vines of Dijon Clone 115 on a basaltic stone slide at the northeastern edge of the Dundee Hills, the mere 72 cases of J. K. Carriere 2010 Pinot Noir Anderson Family smells alluringly of dark cherry and blood orange and intriguingly of animal blood and game, almost like equal parts Cote d-Or and Cornas. This is texturally firm though fine-grained and buoyant. An impressive if slightly austere mingling of iodine and undertone of crushed stone add interest to a finish both gripping and vibrant, while salinity serves for saliva-inducement. I expect this will be worth following for the better part of a decade during which it will have even more interesting as well as seductive days.- Wine Advocate
The raspberry color opens to cinnamon spice, shaved oak and tangy cherry. Mineral and savory with a tart cherry core, the wine races through vanilla, oak, and meat before tailing out on white pepper. Very young, this wine demands age, for which its racy delicacy will reward; or food pairing, if the bottle must be opened. - the winery

J.K. Carriere Anderson Family Pinot noir is a CELLAR SELECTION- this Pinot noir is built to age, from an almost perfect vintage. Not to be missed by those wine collectors serious about aging Pinots.
Dark cherry ester and smoke first deliver full throttle game and earth to your nose before exploding your palate in a highly structural torrent of red fruit, spice, and caramel.
