Review: This is the first Chardonnay produced by J. Scott Cellars. Jonathan told us he produced it at Bonnie's request because she was tired of all of the boring, unoaked Chardonnays on the market. They both feel that Chard needs a bit of oak to enhance the natural flavors and aromas of the varietal. This one has lovely aromas of butterscotch. It is full bodied, yet has enough acidity to not be flabby.
