K Vintners Syrah North Ridge 08 - new for September 2010.

Extremely concentrated, intense color. Notes of huckleberry, cedar, cigar and kirsch. Built like a brick shit-house; exuberant ripe fruit with grippy backbone and spice and a seamless finish.

Located on the Wahluke Slope, Northridge is Koehler loamy fine sand over cemented silica; ancient pre-flood soils—a very unique 92 acre site on the Wahluke Slope. Planted in 2003.
