Review:
Wine Spectator 92 Points: Sleek and appealing, offering white pepper–accented dark berry and roasted meat flavors that glide through polished tannins to a long, transparent finish. Drink now through 2018. - H.S.
2009 Vintage
2009 Wine Advocate - 91 points - The 2009 Pinot Noir Guadalupe Vineyard, from a site that is just outside the Dundee Hills AVA, epitomizes the style of the vintage. Pretty spice notes, incense, cherry blossom, and assorted red fruits lead to an elegant, nicely proportioned, smooth-textured wine with succulent flavors and a pure, lengthy finish. It is a crowd-pleaser that will provide enjoyment through 2019 if not longer. - Jay Miller
2009 Wine Spectator - 91 points - Focused and tangy, with pretty guava and wild raspberry flavors playing against white pepper and fine tannins. Offers complexity and length, finishing with zip. Drink now through 2017. - H.S.
2008 Wine Advocate - 93 points - The 2008 Pinot Noir Guadalupe is from a site just across the Yamhill-Carlton demarcation line planted in 1989. It gives up a fragrant perfume leading to a velvety-textured, sweetly-fruited, elegant wine with ample underlying structure and firm acidity. Give this lengthy, finesse-styled effort 2-3 years of cellaring and drink it from 2012 to 2023. - Jay Miller
2005 Vintage Tasting Notes
2005 Wine Advocate - 92 points - It offers a fragrant perfume, a plush palate, and a lighter, more elegant style than its peers. There is bracing acidity to provide uplift, excellent balance, and ample ripe, sweet fruit.
