Review:

Deep ruby red wine with aromas of creme brulee, black cherries, chocolate cake, red licorice and red roses. Flavors include black fruit, dark cocoa with a hint of cinnamon, and pomegranate. This is an opulent wine with broad tannins and structure.

An enticingly ruby-red splash in the glass reveals layered aromas of blackberries, black cherry cola, herbs, holiday spices, tea, tobacco, pepper and fresh earth. Bill Hanson is assistant winemaker at Panther Creek Wine Cellars, and has his own winery as well. His Libra Wines winery is named for his wife's astrological sign and inspired by the mythology of Greece.

Fresh red berries and cherry aromas dominate this juicy wine. Sweet red fruit flavors (raspberry, cherry, strawberry) are enlivened by a tangy hint of minerals and earth. A little air time evens and mellows this ready to drink Pinot noir.
