2005 Vintage Tasting Notes
Engaging aromas of red fruit, blueberry and marionberry with hints of incense and cinnamon. Concentrated flavors of pie cherry, red currant and cranberry evolve into candied cherry and spicy herbal notes on the finish. This is a young, vibrant wine that cries out for cumin-dusted pork loin. Another value Pinot performer Dai Crisp, manager of Oregon's Temperance Hill Vineyard.
New release from Temperance Hill vineyard manager Dai Crisp and his partner PK McCoy. The '05 Five Blocks Pinot is a blend of Temperance Hill and Wren vineyard fruit. This wine demonstrates the wonderful fruit that Crisp grows, with juicy mixed berry and cherry flavors and subtle spice. Another top value Pinot noir offering from Lumos!
