Review: Aromas of maple, caramel, strawberry jam and toast. Smooth palate, moderate weight, and long finish. 2010 was a cooler vintage leading to modest alcohol, and good balance. The small crop load offers this wine great purity of fruit and focus. This elegant balance makes it a pleasure to drink alone or with an array of rich and savory foods like beef, salmon, and aged cheeses. This wine drinks very well now but will continue to improve with ease and grace until 2015.
