An outstanding example of Viognier. White peach, apricot, orange blossoms and ruby grapefruit provide a lushness that's balanced by rocking acidity. We couldn't help imagining how great seared halibut with an orange beurre blanc would taste with the 2007 Viognier.
Mark made the right call to blend the Ciel du Cheval and Conner Lee Vineyard lots of Viognier into one wine for this vintage.
